50famous   It seems rather odd to review a book like, 50 Famous People of the World. The reason is because it is nothing more than a series of photographs and a list of 50 people that were chosen for being famous because of their work in civil rights activism, writing and publishing, performing music and/or playing sport, among other things.   This list could have easily appeared on Wikipedia or the Huffington Post and it seems rather unnecessary for a whole e-book to be dedicated to the topic. Along with each entry is a few words to describe what the person is famous for having done. A far better option would have been to at least give a brief biography for each person. In short, this book seems juvenile and redundant.   ***Please note: a free copy of this book was given to the writer through a Library Thing giveaway.
